Clipsette — Privacy Policy

Effective 3 November 2026 · streamcliptool.app

Clipsette ("we", "our") is an internal content-production tool operated by a single individual to create short-form highlight videos from publicly broadcast live streams and publish them to a YouTube channel we own. It is not offered to the public and has no user accounts.

What the tool processes

Google user data

Clipsette uses Google OAuth to obtain permission to manage our own YouTube channel. The OAuth token is stored encrypted at rest on our server and used only for the purposes above. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. The only Google account connected is the operator's own.

Clipsette's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we do not do

Retention

Source video segments are retained for up to 90 days unless used in a published video. Chat messages are retained for 14 days. OAuth tokens are kept until revoked.

Streamers featured in our videos

Every video credits the source stream in its description. Streamers who would like a clip removed can contact us at the address below and we will remove it promptly.
